What is Embodied Leadership?

I have selected the most impactful methods from two decades of working as a physical theatre practitioner, a decade of rigorous personal development work and over a decade training top global brands.

These methods all start and end with the body.

Emotional intelligence, personal presence and wellbeing are all achieved through embodiment. When you harness them, you stand out from the crowd and easily achieve your most expansive goals.

Let me guide, support and celebrate you as you become the Embodied Leader you aspire to be.

About Imogen

I grew up on a farm in Devon and moved to London to train at RADA. I spent 5 years living in India and Bangladesh where I directed plays and was Casting Director on a TV series for the BBC World Service. I have created cabaret shows and made plays about folk stories, drug abuse, capoeira and sexual harm.

I have directed plays in (and speak my own imperfect versions of) French, Brazilian Portuguese, Bengali and Hindi. I've been fortunate enough to travel to Hawai'i, New Zealand, Brazil, India, Saudi and the UAE, Rotterdam, Berlin and Barcelona for work. This list is ever-expanding.

I am the creator of Foreign Body, an award-winning verbatim play about repair after sexual harm. Performed at Soho Theatre, the Southbank Centre and on tour across the UK and India, Foreign Body exemplified vulnerability as an emblem of strength and storytelling as a tool to empower and inspire action. I have recently finished writing a memoir about the same subject.
